Schlyce and Brian Jimenez
Schlyce Jimenez is the founder and Senior Pastor of Prayer Mountain and Schlyce Jimenez Ministries. Like the Samaritan woman at the well who was so transformed by her encounter with Jesus that she was launched into ministry, Schlyce’s passion is to see lives transformed by the miracle-working power of God and His unconditional love. Schlyce’s unique understanding of the reality of the Kingdom of God as a “right-now” reality and her anointing to pray “God’s will on earth as it is in heaven” with authority, has empowered multitudes to experience victory in their lives. Miracles, ranging from kidney failure to deafness, to allergies and emotional healing, to addiction recovery and families being restored, happen regularly in and outside the church.
Schlyce firmly believes that this is the Church’s finest hour and that we are on the verge of a world-wide revival that will take place through the lives of ordinary believers operating in the realm of the supernatural. Therefore, she is focused on discipling people into wholeness in every area of their lives and training them to become miracle workers that can impact others everywhere they go. Schlyce teaches that we owe the world an encounter with God, and that a Gospel without power is not the Gospel that Jesus preached.
Brian Jimenez is called to minister outside of the four walls of the church in the market place and acts as spiritual covering for his wife, Schlyce. Brian serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for both Prayer Mountain and Schlyce Jimenez Ministries, and his gifts in the areas of wisdom, patience, stewardship and steadfastness in waiting to hear God’s voice are a cornerstone of the ministry. A licensed plumber/pipefitter and former owner of his own construction business, Brian’s vision is to build kingdom based companies and marketplace ministries that will impact lives, provide jobs, and build the house of God. His gentle nature, quiet leadership style and great sense of humor serve him well as he ministers to tradesmen and others on jobsites that might otherwise not encounter Jesus. Brian and Schlyce have been married for five years and are the parents of two beautiful daughters, Lily Simone and Ella Skye and live in Divide, Colorado.
Russ and Tenaya Divine
Russ and Tenaya Divine are a dynamic duo the in the Kingdom of God. Russ is the Assistant Pastor at Prayer Mountain and Tenaya serves as Children’s Pastor.
Russel Divine grew up in a wonderful Christian family in the central valley of California on the family farm. Growing up he watched both his grandfather and father fly in and out of the farm airstrip. Russel went on the attend San Diego Christian College, where he received his degree in Aviation flight technology. After graduating Russel worked as a flight instructor and then as a supply pilot supporting a wildfire fire-fighting operation. Today Russel is an airline pilot for a regional airline. Russel and Tenaya met at SDCC and where married in 2002. Thus far they have 2 beautiful children, Josephine and Clay. After moving to Colorado Springs in 2006, Russel felt a deeper calling to ministry. While attending Charis Bible School, Russel met Schylce and began helping her with ministry events in Colorado Springs. Now as the Associate pastor at Prayer Mountain and the Director of the Healing Rooms, Russel is excited about experiencing the Kingdom of God here on Earth.
Tenaya Divine grew up in a Christian home. Tenaya was homeschooled though high school. At 17 she heard the call on her life to ministry. Attending San Diego Christian College she received her B.S. in Aviation flight technology, with infuses Bible and intercultural studies. She spent 2 summers living and Working in Africa. Working first in Kenya with Africa Inland Missions as a pilot mechanic and then with African Bible College in Malawi. After College Tenaya worked as a live in Nanny and then Pilot and flight instructor. Russel and Tenaya Married in 2002. In the spring of 2006 she hung up the head sets to be a full time mother. In 2006 they moved to Colorado Springs. In Colorado away from family and friends the Lord really got a hold of them and grew their faith and introducing them to the supernatural lifestyle they now live by and teach. Tenaya is currently Homeschooling her pre-schooler and two other girls from the ministry. Tenaya has an amazing love for children and desires to see every child in this generation that desires to, live a supernatural life. Tenaya is blessed and excited about her calling to train up this mighty generation for the Lord.
Brian and Catherine Toon
Brian and Catherine Toon are making an enormous impact in the Kingdom of God and bring amazing gifts and talents to the church and ministry.
Brian Toon currently serves as the Director of Operations for Schlyce Jimenez Ministries and is tasked with making sure that all aspects of our operations are conducted in excellence and that we maintain our focus on our God given mission and goals. Brian is a retired Navy Captain with over 28 years of leadership experience. He comes from a long line of military men who have served the U.S. in every major war including the American Revolutionary War and has ancestors who fought for Napoleon Bonaparte and William of Orange in 1688. Brian’s Navy career consisted primarily of flying fighter jets from aircraft carriers, training others as a flight instructor and acting as the Commanding Officer of a Naval training squadron. He also ran carrier flight operations as an aircraft carrier’s Air Boss during the Iraq War, has a subspecialty in Space Operations and has been Chief of an underground nuclear warfare command center. On a lighter note, Brian had the opportunity to do two short flying parts in the motion pictures: Top Gun and The Hunt for Red October. After his military career, Brian earned two Masters degrees including an MBA and joined the National Day of Prayer Task Force as Vice Chairman where he oversaw product development, marketing, budget and daily operations. A native of Colorado, Brian was born in Denver and is a lifelong Denver Broncos fan. But more importantly, Brian is devoted to seeing God’s people realize the full blessing of God’s power in their lives and lead a victorious life filled with the Holy Spirit.
Brian’s wife, Catherine Toon is our Director of Prayer and oversees all of the church and ministry’s prayer and prophetic training efforts. As a medical student and later as a practicing physician, Catherine’s life was transformed when she encountered the real Jesus and the Holy Spirit walked her out of years of emotional and relational bondage. He birthed a compassion in her that reaches out with the love and power of a passionate God, who transforms and redeems the broken, oppressed, hurting, impoverished and infirm. After finishing her training, she practiced for 4 years as a board certified internist in a group practice. She came home to raise her children with a burning desire to pursue the things of God – His Word and His Spirit. Moving regularly with her husband, Brian, and his naval career, she did home Bible studies and served in each church in various capacities – in the choir, on the Woman’s Board and was asked to teach multiple small group studies. She was asked to teach and serve on deliverance ministry teams and with altar ministry. Throughout this time she has served as an ongoing powerful intercessor, who expects and sees results. She has written multiple teaching curricula and has anointed and powerful, but relatable style of teaching. Her medical background has transformed into a powerful healing anointing as well. She met Schlyce while attending Charis Bible College and has served at Schlyce Jimenez Ministries since before its official conception. She is currently the Director of Prayer and oversees all of the Church and Ministry prayer and prophetic training efforts. Brian and Cathering currently reside in Colorado Springs, CO with their 3 children.
Iwana Nettles
Iwana Nettles is a woman on a mission to save the world one person at a time. She is the Director of Administration and Events at the ministry because she loves to serve people. Iwana regularly takes the time to pray and minister to others as she goes about her busy day. Iwana and her husband William have been married for twenty years and share a love for business, administration, hospitality and good ole’ fashion fun! They are known for their love for people and frequently open up their home for fellowship, food and anything else anyone might need. William is known for his skill on the barbeque and Iwana’s ability to accomplish twenty things at once is truly a gift from the Lord. Iwana’s formal degree is in Elementary Education. She spent 14 years in the classroom before taking a nine year break to raise her three daughters. It was during this time that she and William developed their first business. As a result of their success they became requested speakers for training and motivational seminars throughout Texas and Louisiana. They subsequently owned and operated a video store and most recently “Café’ Latte”, a coffee house and catering business. Iwana was raised Southern Baptist and remembers the first time she walked into a non-denominational church. It was then she couldn’t wait to tell others, and bring along guests. The live music, clapping hands and happy faces created a lively atmosphere and presence of the Lord. There was always a desire to serve on staff at a non-denominational church and go to a bible school of ministry. God has given her the desires of her heart with Schlyce Jimenez Ministries and Prayer Mountain. Iwana and William live in Woodland Park, Colorado and have three beautiful daughters – Cassidy, Kiffery, and Kayleigh, ages 18, 15, and 12
Jason Hensley
Jason Hensley is a revivalist with the heart of the King. He serves as the Director of Marketing and Media for the ministry and is charged with representing the King of Kings in today’s media driven world. Jason’s passion is to see the reality of Jesus impact the lives of people everywhere he goes.
